how much you want for iphone 4 16gb - black in cyprus? And just inform all of you people that if you buy it from apple store no need to do anything extra for iphone 4 they just come UNBLOCKED.

I'm currently in the US but planning to come back to Cyprus. I would get an iPhone from AT&t but it's locked and I'd have to mess with its software to unlock it to use it elsewhere. Where do Cyprus residents usually get their iPhones. Which network? Cyta? I searched Google and found this website http://www.ipelagos.com that sells the iPhone to Cyprus but it's like $1000. I don't think so. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Kiros walk into any apple store in the US and you can buy an unlocked Iphone 4 for $599 16 gb and $699 32gb unless off course you are just pushing your own site

Hi Ataturk. In the US they are locked to AT&T. And they are $199 and $299. You have to use software unlock but I imagine you can run into trouble later when updating. Verizon will have it as well but it will be locked too. How about the UK Apple store? Someone I talked to today told me they have it but was not sure if it's locked to any of the UK carriers. I'll be flying back in 2 weeks and go though London with 4 hours wait time. I'm not sure it that can work out but I'll see how far the airport from the Apple store is and see if I can make it there get one.

I have purchased from both countries so Kiros you are wrong. Also if you buy factory unlocked there is no need to unlock. There are no problems with unlocking the phone with software and it doesnt void the warranty
