I've just signed a petition urging EU to pass bold new laws to curb illegal timber trading.



Illegal-logging destroys forests and communities all over the world. As a major timber importer, new EU regulations could help undercut this black market and protect forests worldwide, unless powerful companies succeed in watering down the agreement. If TRNC is a part of the EU then how come we don't use the Euro, and how come we don't have direct flights to oher EU countries??

Ah the Cyprus is in the EU question! Obviously you don't realise that you are living under the jackboot of a military occupation!



A crazy decision to allow Cyprus in to the EU as a whole island but for it's own protection the ROC government arranged for the Acquis Communitaire (the whole body of EU law) to be suspended in the areas not under government control.
