Seeing as restaurants can only have 1 review per day/per page...perhaps we should have a complaints thread 1 per day per thread....



So exactly what is your complaint for today.....? Is it a restaurant..is it a market..or is it perhaps your neighbours pool needs cleaning...?



Me? My only complaint is 'where do i start?'



Sock it to me.....maybe if we keep all the complaints on one thread it can be printed off, and signed and perhaps get something done...? A long shot, but.....El Dorado comes to mind!!

I think it's a good idea to have a complaints page, because a lot of posters on here only complain anyway !! Which restaurant is crap , which supermarket is stitching you up etc etc . If everything is so bad in N Cyprus why do people still live there ?? England is the best country in the world and i love it here . I also love N Cyprus and S Cyprus , but i don't go on and on about how crap the place is .! Why did you buy here ? Didn't you do your homework ?. If you don't like it why don't you move ?? It's no good going to a foreign country and try and make it into " Little England " !! Bingo on mondays , thrift club on tuesdays , knitting on wednesdays . Some of you lot need to get a grip . ! Isn't it funny that in England nobody complains !!!!

I think that a complaints thread is an excellent idea. Don't worry about Cooper - there's always one!!!!!!!

It means that fore-warned is fore-armed and you can check things out as you do things ie if the supermarket has a problem on the till then you will be prepared and check your receipts and change.

Just as you would do in England if you thought that a shop was making a lot of mistakes.

I have a serious complaint - It is bloody hot, how do I cool down - done the pool, done the air con, done the windows open, done the windows shut. No I am not going back to England to cool down.

I also want to know where the knitting is held on Wednesdays and the thrift club on Tuesdays - must have missed them!!!

Aaary, Sat at home in sheffield dreaming of getting back out there. Sorry to say no complaints except not be out there in September for the Manhattans gig. They are absolutley superb and massive on club circuit at home. So good some of my pals are coming out to watch them. On a serious note 20% VAT coming along with loads of other problems in UK. TRNC looks good to me!!!!! even with all it's little foibles

Very little constructive and very many just plain personal and arrogant. There's only one person who has ever posted on here with such unsolicitated venom and he/she wasn't named "Sal", either.



By the way, yes, "she" would certainly be at the very top of my complaints list.

As I have said before Sal is quite likely a previous cretinous poster using yet another identity, we should really pity people like that, I have been on the end of several very personal insults from this idiot and my complaint would have to be why are posters allowed to continue to insult people in a personal manner. This is against the rules and should be dealt immediately whoever the poster might be.

Perhaps the * fish* are looking for fresh bait eh.

Daisy, I can honestly say that with just the few posts that have come up so far you might have to have them create a complaint section, like For Sale: or Joke: with sub sections for Restaurants, shopping, people, weather, interest rates, currencies, pensions, builders, legal stuff, bans, mods, admins. No wait a minute, I have just realised, it would be easier to create a section that has Not A Complaint: at the start or to just leave the whole thing the way it is and have a heading WARNING: Contains comments by Expats, View at your own discretion.



As for Sal, although they are just a little below the belt at times, well almost all the time, I find her/his comments a refreshing change. No holding back and worried about whether I am missunderstanding the meaning of the comment.

Straight for the jugular every time.

I am not sure if all the mods are watching, but I am pretty sure Simbas is, I don't think she has had to type quite so fast and often as yesterday; blocking Sal

If you really want me to explain I will but if you are not that interested then don't bother reading the rest of this particular post as it will not be what you or many others want to read.



I have been involved in many disputes on here due to my interpretation of what someone has written and vice versa. Normally it ends up with both parties trying in vain to explain what they really meant to no avail as the injured party has allready decided that they are offended before the explanation can be understood. It is very frustrating when in this situation. My point was that with Sal, there is no chance of not understanding the posts correctly, it is pure venom, mostly.

Offensive, rude and insulting yes, to the point and direct, very much yes. Do I think it should be stopped, maybe, but simbas seems to be on to of it.

i would like to complain again...sometimes there is much hilarity here i agree with hans, if its not cyprus related ...i will bring back the birch !!!

The trouble with TRNC is that the sun is far too hot! The water in the pools is to wet! The people are far too friendly! Oh dear...so much to complain about...................

i have a complaint its too hot to work but I'm loosing weight , not that's there is much of me,.i can complain re garrrrrry robber who stole our live etc, the one thing i cannot complain about is the lovely people i have met here. I know i have friends for life and it is so reassuring, from customers board members i know i can call in a crisis,I do often with my dumped dogs, every body chips in to help me.Ismail;my floor space is taken up with things grom tvs etc , now its catering packs of foods and toys.when we launch the SOS appeal my floor is full of presents. Where in the world would you get that community spirit
