| Dear all, I would like to introduce myself to you, my name is Francoise Aktash and I am the Customer Representative for Universal Bank in the recently opened Çatalköy branch (near Stop & Shop). Please feel free to come and meet me in the branch or post me a question. We are currently open between the hours of: Monday & Friday 8am to 5pm (we do NOT close for lunch) and Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 8am to 2pm. (these are our summer time hours for June; July and August) I will update the hours when they have changed (to avoid possible confusion). One important thing to note is that we have an ATM that accepts most cards and is open 24/7. I look forward to meeting/speaking with some of you soon. | Don't get me started on ATM queues here LOL! No, seriously Francoise, thank you for letting us know. We live in Catalkoy so to have an ATM so close is a big plus for us. Will it accept Garanti bank cards? Cheers. |

| Hello to Groucho and kitty1, Thank you for your comments. As far as I know, our machine accepts most cards. The only thing that I can suggest is to come and try it. I will be in the branch to help you if needed (as long as it's in the opening times of course). Sorry I couldn't give you a more definate answer. Thank you and hope to see you soon. Francoise. | Hello littlenige, Thank you for you question. The rates are all dependent on the time AND on the amount you invest. Please could I ask that you come into the branch when it is convenient to you, to discuss this further as it is personal to you? | Wow this thread is getting like a meeting place for Bank Employees Brains, Does Universal Bank do full online banking for example can we covert from sterling to ytl on line and open foreign currency accounts? Thanks in advance for your response Karen |

To be honest our Internet Banking is currently 'view only', however, we are working on a fully interactive site which will give our customers full access to transferring money between their accounts, opening new accounts, paying bills and applying for our insurance policies. Once this has been completed, I will give you a more detailed idea of what you will be able to do. I am a little hesitant to say YES to all of your questions as I do not want to give any false information until I know that it is definate. I hope this answers your question... | Dear All, Just a quick note to let you know that we are now into our winter hours (from 1st September) The hours are now as follows: Monday to Friday 8:00 to 5:00; please note that the tills are open from 8:15 to 1pm then from 2pm to 4pm (however, if you need to carry out a transaction between 1pm and 2pm we will do this for you) Thank you, Francoise Customer Representative Universal Bank |
