Anyone know where you can get a MRI scan on your knee and what the cost would be?

There is a place opposite the State Hospital in Lefkoşa I think its called Ektam or something similar. I had a MRI scan there 2 year ago and it cost me 500 tl.

I had a scan on my neck 4 weeks ago at the same place, it is just before the hospital on the right hand side, so you have to go to the roundabout and back up. My scan cost me 300tl and got the results 2 days later as the scans are analysed by a professorin Turkey

The place is called Letam i had mri on my knee two years ago cost me £120 POUNDS i paid half money when i had it done the other half on collection of x-rays

Medikent in Gonyeli - there is no waiting around for appointments and you may get the results the same day. Sorry do not know the cost of a MRI scan.

I had MRI scan on my Knee prior to surgery in dec 2009 at the letam op state hospital in Lefkosa. good service and results on disc so you can look at them on computer as well as having the photographs.



I also ended up having surgery after on knee key hole call if you want any further info

Letam are absolutely the best for any kind of MRI/CT scans, ultrasounds, x-rays etc. Very professional indeed and they will do the reports in English if needed. Most of the specialists here send their patients to Letam as they trust them totally. Prices of MRI scans vary widely depending upon the area to be scanned - ring and ask them.

Just mri on my knee cost 200tl at Alfa Emar 0392 224 1310 had operation today at Etik hopital cost 4000tl job done great service.

hi, thanks to all for advice,

Have now had op on medial knee ligaments, costs were as follows:

MRI 300.00TL

Drs appointment 80.00TL

Op Costs/hosp stay 4946.85TL

total cost 5326.85TL (approx £2300.00)



Treated @ Medikent hospital, very good staff, food iffy.
