davedee, I was intending taking my grandkids to Cyprus tomorrow and checked the Atlasjet site to see what flights had been put on for CTA ticket holders (Sunday flight now non existent) At the beginning of the week I looked under the extra flights (not the scheduled) in the FAQ section and found one going 1945 on 9th July and then went back to see if there were spaces on it. I did this by starting to book the number of seats I needed. They were there for the high price mentioned above. Today, the same as on Tuesday, you try to book and it's FULL! Might be some reason for it but I'm not taking 4 kids from Cardiff to Stansted on the off chance there might be seats free. Supposedly you can convert your tickets in the UK now but I had an email from someone who tried and failed on the basis that their tickets were bought online from CTA. I gave up and bought Easyjet tickets and will claim through the credit card.

The whole sorry story is another big nail in the coffin of the TRNC. Its not than someone high up in authority does not know whats going on its, they dont care. They dont care about the tourists They dont care about the Expats They dont care about anything that consists of doing something positive. Then they will start complaining and blame everyone else but themselves. But life goes on.

Just been onto the Atlas Jet site to see what they would charge for 2 people to fly from Manchester to Ercan in September for 2 weeks. The price was an unbelievable 1028 euros and for October 938 euros? Who the hell is going to pay those prices? There will be a lot of empty seats on those flights for sure.

Ah, Atlas Jet in structuring their 50/50 profit sharing scheme have decided to adopt CTA's 100% shooting yourself in the foot policy. This will bolster the airlines flying to Larnaca and lead to the abandonment of Ercan if it carries on.
