Are there plenty of ATM's in Kyrenia and are they reliable to use, as the ones in Turkey sometimes were out of order or out of money. Does anyone happen to know if there's one near our apartment we'll be just a few blocks off the Lapta road near the passport restaurant. Cheers!!

HSBC will give the option to withdraw Sterling, YTL, or Euros when you insert your UK Debit or Credit Card. Withdrawing Sterling is the cheapest option (typically £2.50 per £200) then going to an Exchange to get your YTL. Whereas taking out 500YTL will cost over £5 extra. Check with your local bank for charges.

You are only about 100 yards from the nearest at HSBC. TC has good advice, check with your own bank for charges.
