Hello All, We're getting ready to move from Azerbaijan to our new apartment in Alsancak next month, and are starting to pack up all our stuff, ready for shipping. My very dear lady has been told by a friend that we will not be allowed to bring in CDs and DVDs in their original cases, as TRNC customs would worry that we'd try to re-sell them. This doesn't sound right to me, but then again, I'm sure that there are many strange Customs regulations. Does anyone know if there is such a rule, or has her friend got it wrong (again)? Cheers, HotHippo

I brought all mine with me and as a DJ/Karaoke Host probably had more than most people. No problems. Also bought a metal flight case full of them on the plane as hand-luggage. But the rules may have changed....that was 2005.

Thanks for the good news, Metin. I'm a it of a hoarder, and would hate to throw these cases away, along with the lyrics, cast lists, et cetera. Anyone have any more recent experience of any hassles with customs?

Cheers John, I'll get one of the lads started on "re-packaging" duty right now!
