The Geoff Day saga continues on Thursday 15th July, scheduled for 10am.

The judge is due to give a verdict on the deposition given my Geoff's Lawyer stating that there is no case to answer.

If the judge rules in favour that is an end. If not then Peyman will have to commence the full defence case and will drag on for more never ending garbage.

Please come along and give Geoff and Mary some support and to show the judiciary that we are united against the injustice apparently being dealt to foreigners.

If you intend to sit in the court, last time they made sure as few as possible of us could get in, men must wear trousers, no vests,. Women must have shoulders covered and Knees not showing. You are not allowed to take bottles of water etc into the court either. All of these "rules" have appeared during the course of the trial as more of us have attended.

Please come along and show the authorities what you are about.

Just to add. If you cannot get into the court, Mary has to stay outside and a squad always stays with her and enjoys a coffee at the small cafe behind court.

Also a pleasant way to meet new acquantences, we always retire to a nearby hostelry to find out what happened in the court. Proceedings are all in Turkish but we have a very good friend and supporter who is TC and interprets for us.

Please come along, many of you keep going on about protests well here is a legal way of showing how you feel.

David...msg 5

It was good to meet you also.

As you know we are now back home but our thoughts are with Geoff and Mary who will hopefully get a resolution to their nightmare very shortly.

Your own passionate support is admirable bearing in mind your own problems in the TRNC

I do hope that more people turn out to show solidarity....even though certain officials will again do their best to keep us out of court.

Good luck..keep your cool...and don't get arrested !

Cronos.

He better not get arrested I think we have had more than enough visits to court to last us a life time.

Mary & Geoff

Will be there!

Fingers (and everything else) crossed that the judge will throw it out and you can both get on with normal living.

steveafc, if you are going to make such sweeping statemnets it would be best for all of us if you explained what you are talking about.

Right now we can just see you as someone of limited vocabulary, so please tell us what is c*** and your reasons for saying so.

Best of luck to Geoff and Mary. I'm not in TRNC at the moment so I won't be there in person, only in spirit.

Maybe it's the legal system that he is on about & the fact that builders can use it for gain.!

I do not know what you mean littleme, insinuating that a builder may use the system for gain!!!!!!!!

Hope it is not too hot Thursday otherwise will have to run a 10 foot straw through the window as we cannot take water into the courtroom. Or maybe they will pack the seats with policemen so we cannot get in like last time. Me, cynical, never!!!!!

As above, but lets hope that common sense will prevail where justice has failed.

I hope for a good turnout because any single one of us could easily be the next victim of this corrupt Mickey Mouse legal system unless a stand is made.

LATE BREAKING NEWS

Geoff has been informed by his solicitor that he is to attend her office at 9:00 am & not the usual

10: 00 am

So from this it would appear that it could be an early kick off, if you intend to be in the court room we would suggest that you get in early. DO NOT WAIT FOR GEOFF - GO IN

I will be outside the court from 9:00am
