Help, I have just had to send both parts of my uk driving licience off to have some points put on it!!!!

and have been told I wont get it back for 3 to 4 weeks.

Im due to hire a car in North Cyprus in 2 weeks time for 5 weeks..

Will hire company accept a photocopy of photo licience and paper licience.

I have tried to email the company and explain but they have emailed back what time they are picking me up.

I dont think they understood my question, which i totally understand, but I cant manage without a car, and i have gone into panic mode!!!

i was still using my paper licence, so i know they acept them now i got my local one, but the got the paper one

I'm sure they will accept a photocopy. I completely forgot mine once and the company said it was OK but I would need a copy faxed across if I had an accident.

I forgot mine in June when renting from A One. Ismail was fine. They took passport details and said if I was involved in an accident they could contact the uk authorities for the number.

Ismail at Aone is excellent, nothing to much trouble, reliable etc
