Hi, any idea of any reasonable flights to Ercan from any London Airports, Bristol, Bournemouth, dates:

28/29 August - returning 4/5 September. I have been checking but everything looks so expensive at that time. Thank you.

to be honest never heard of them untl i joined the baord had a few quaotes from the guy

and greenislandholidays are always cheaper and i have never had problems with them and i and loads of us

having been using them for years

Flightholiday have been around for many years and they were trusted on other BBs b4 this one existed.

They have also tried to help anyone and everyone on this board without asking for anything have Green Island or the other operators who are also featured done the same?



You did seem to have it in for them with regard to telling them about ATOL etc when I suspect they know more about travel regs than many and I guess more than you or I.

To miss-quote U sorry babes if its working dont knock it

Lilli & John - thanks for coming to my defence. I am sure if Sylv decides to look I have a number of people who have praised us over the years (nothing to do with being cheap). Look what happens to the cheapest deal it goes up the pipes far too often.

Whether it's Flights or Removals to North Cyprus, the 'bottom line' is often the worst place to be looking!

We're always getting glowing reports back from Clients we've recommended to you, especially for sorting out flights for their dogs. Keep up the good work, please!

I'm not doing so well by your clients for dogs right now. I had to delay working on them due to the CTA things and now I'm trying to work out an acceptable, efficient way that will also be cost effective; as to date the major route for pets was CTA (they had some holds with a/c). Not easy for our 4 footed friends!

have not got it in for anybody and yes i do know a lot as if you read my messages i got stranded before

and paid heavily i reccomeded my friends who booked with paradise and they got stranded

yes i spoke to atol people and have told folks here what i was told and i belive many people have had their money back



i certainly have not had a problem with flight compnay as for other companies ask flight company who did what and whats the situ i have no clue all i know i booked £299 7 nghts with green island unfortunatly if its

cheaper people will go but if you do make sure youre protected but yes from what i read flightcompany is far more helpful and is the local agent on the board

Sylv Msg 16 - I suspect that you are mentioning flightholiday not flightcompany. If you are then I think you need to start to check all your facts even down to the name you use for us.

1] You think once being stranded makes you totally knowledgeable (it does give you some experience but not in depth knowledge) - try over 12 years in the travel industry, being involved in rescues when other companies have gone down, being an ATOL holder, being in retail and business (for 45 years) knowing some of the law regarding business, credit and retail and it’s changes for much of that time.

2] IAH (flightholiday) is not a “local agent” we are specialists in North Cyprus and Turkey but sell from the UK worldwide

3] If you have had quotes from us it would be nice to let me know who you are so we can chat amicably or are you one of those who call only when in trouble?



I will not carry on believe me I do know very little and I know how little others do too. Lets be polite & nice its better.

Dear Sylv Babes not a problem. As you can guess like all tour operators and agents we have been under a lot of pressure for our own clients and business (BTW I'm also trying to still assist past customers who went direct to save our booking fee).

I currently get nearly 50% of incoming calls from people in trouble to do with CTA or CTA & Goldtrail (nothing to do with us at IAH) we give them time and assistance often with the promise we will come to you in future (sorry but the reality is not very likely). When helping others or posting here we are not making money

So you can understand that if I come across people who are unintentionally incorrectly informed (including the stuff they are told by the CAA) I try to correct and help but was stressed & not too happy to be told I was wrong.

If I write on a bb I have to get it right or 1] will say I am not sure 2] attribute it to a source.

I totally agree with the above statemant (use the best and speak to Tom at IAH Flightholidays). He has performed in my experience beyond the call of duty.

Tom at flightholidays kept me well informed when Turkish cyprus airlines were going bust.

He detailed all the options open to me at the time. (very informative).

He managed to arrange replacement flights with atlasjet, (at no extra cost) unlike many companies.

I couldn't recommend him any higher.

whatever he charges i have no doubt they are well informed and a wealth of information as they have put me in my place and i duly apologised



so please lets not have empty words put your credit cards where your mouths are in flight holidays
