White sticky backed velcro round the window frame (just the hooky side, not the loopy side) and cheap white netting.

Hi Sazna, We did the same as Msg2 however, we got some of the mesh they sell in Mr. Pound for covering your plants in winter to protect them against frostbite (!!!). Works a treat at keeping out both mozzies and sandflies and still allows the air to flow through the house. 4TL for mesh, 4TL for velcro. NB: we covered two windows with the mesh provided in the pack.

We bought mesh from the internet and have enough to do our touring caravan over here and our apartment over there. We will be using sticky backed velcro at a fraction of the cost of the fly screens we have been quoted for in TRNC. We certainly can't afford to throw money away in these uncertain times - perhaps we would have gone for something more professional if we were living there, but as a holiday home it is more than sufficient I am sure.
