Dionne Warwcik was on TV here in UK very recently. Still a very gracious lady and still sings well live.



Sadly, the very great talent that was Whitney Houston, is no more (Simbas wil tell you - she went to see her quite recently).

She was great considering she is 69, her plane was 4 hours late landing from Malta and she was suffering with the heat. Her son, David Elliott, who is a total babe, sang too and he is amazing.

Food was great at the Rocks..but was a little disappointed at the Warm up act..........a supposed Turkish comedian / singer and appreciate She was suffering from the heat but must be first time when someone gets a standing ovation that they don`t even do one more song. The Rocks told me Dianne was doing a 2 hour show......



But they did look after us all night and even showed us to a better table when one became available.



But I suppose we did get a chance to see a living legend.....................

Sorry to harp on, but you are all talking my kind of language. It was the cancellation of the JLo concert on the back of the Greek Cypriots lobbying her publicist about how she shouldn't perform in an occupied country that has finally motivated the Turkish Cypriots to make a stance. So as stated already, please all sign the petition to stop this kind of thing happening again. Sean Paul is performing on 7th Aug in Girne and the GCs have been lobbying him trying to get him to cancel too, where will they stop. So at the moment there are over 4,000 members of the Facebook Group, nearly 1,000 signature on the petition and a rally organised in London for Sunday, 3rd October and one being organised for the same time in Lefkosa. Please help make a difference and take action now. Everything you need is contained in the attached web page
