| were moving over within the next 4 months i have a 8 year old van which i thought about driving over with some of our furniture and belongings has anybody else done this or does anybody know if this is possible take it easy on me just need some advise many thanks |

| If your vehıcle ıs over 5 years old you cannot ımport ıt unless you have owned ıt yourself for over 5 years Thats what the sıtuatıon used to be but ıt maybe 3 years now and ıt may be dıfferent wıth a commercıal vehıcle And I thınk you need to have a company to have a commercıal vehıcle?? I thınk but the ımport duty ıs a lot less than a car you best check ıt out before |

| I drove a LDV convoy over full of our personel effects with no problems 8 years ago except for customs at each port. Make sure you have an itemised inventory in english and turkish and be prepared to jump through hoops to get the relevent stamps ie police stamp, customs stamp at each port. your expected to know these things and if you cant speak turkish, they dont speak english which makes it difficult. Still a great experience ps you also need turkish insurance |
