dark wooden furniture, usually inexpensive because of where it comes from, but the duty would take care of it no longer being on the inexpensive side.

Hi, Thanks for quick reply. Indonesion type furniture, would be Teak or Rattan. We looking for Lounge Furniture in Particular. I seem to remember there was a shop in Alsancak heading towards Lapta on the left side of road that sold a lot of that kind of thing. Doesn't matter what the cost is, it will be just as expensive buying it here in Singapore, Shipping it and paying Duty at that end. Wife wants it, so wife gets it !!!!

I would think it woukld be cheaper to send it from Singapore than buing it here as we paid £800 for a 30 draw Apothecary /spice draw UK £270.00 Coffee table £180.00 UK £50.00 Failing that a few journeys to the South might be required Good Luck

When you get here pay AYSEL a visit her shop is by the Turk bank in Alsancak. She is just waiting for a new delivery of Rattan/Teak furniture. That she gets from Indonesia. This time she even has some pieces that she has designed herself!
