| They do sell a very good dripper-based irrigation systems in Super Home Centre. They also sell timers operated by 9v batteries that will switch it off and on as you wish. Use a length of rope or string to work out how many metres of tubing you'll need and how many drippers for your plants then buy sets as appropriate. The sets work out cheaper but remember to add any extra tubing and drippers to make up your ideal solution. You can get in-line drippers and end-run drippers to make up any combination you need. They are adjustable for flow rate too, so you can make sure water gets to the end of your run. Please don't waste your money on sprinkler or fine spray systems as the water will evaporate before it gets anywhere near the roots of your plants and they waste far too much precious water. |

| Just to add, try to ensure that the irrigation system is on at night - there will be much less evaporation, so that the water gets a chance to soak down into the ground and reach the roots. I set mine for just before dawn - to give the plants a nice drink for their breakfast as they're 'waking up' |
