Good morning all. We are within a week of our container arriving and we know that we will have a small amount of room free. What did you wish that you had brought over but didn't?

More garden furniture as it is expensive here, also wish I had brought spare kettle iron etc.

My tip leave nothing behind as you can always sell when you get here there is always a buyer.

Pack everything you possibly can then you do not miss anything of your own. When you get here you can then thin out by selling at one of the markets or the auctions.

If you have a garden here my advice would be to make sure you bring with you a garden shredder for all your cuttings and garden rubbish..seems it a job to get rid of it here.and people seem to get rid of it by dumping it any where.Living with the locals rubbish all over here is bad enough...

Electric Blankets are a must, heaters, light fittings coz all the ones here are old fashioned and boring! Plastic Shed if you need one, Garden furniture, ladders!

under the sink instant water heater you waste water waiting for it run hot, all electrical goods + spare iron, kettle etc really quite expensive to replace here, All the garden furniture and garden pots you will need, all the bedding pillows etc and light fittings again expensive and curtain track /poles as very limited choice. In fact everything you think you need and twice as much

If you like gravy dinners, bring a slow cooker, it's too hot to have the oven on. Microwave is a must for me too. One thing we didn't bring was our tumble drier,it would have come in handy during the winter months.

Definitely the tumble dryer as they are so expensive over here.

Garden furniture

Gas bbq, if you are wanting to use one

Electric blanket - this is an equal No: 1 with the tumble dryer

Tools if you plan on doing some diy, not always good quality over here and you end up causing yourself harm
