4GB is 60 YTL a month

10GB is 90 YTL a month



Now back at home in Esentepe speed is still excellent,2.83 Mb/s 6 times faster than I ever got with Extend.

thanks for that gooligan - so just to confirm you used Gezz (the turkcell option) in bahcelli - preferably on the old coast road - near sea breeze restaurant and you get excellent speed?



just asking as I am there in 2 weeks and when I last asked in Turkcell shop in Girne (last week) they said it did not cover this area.



Looking around telsim say on their web site that they do cover it - telsim is actually cheaper as well

that is 3gb - 45tl per month - 1 month contract - 139tl for the modem

or 1gb - 25tl per month - - 1 month contract - 139tl for the modem



so if telsim worked would be good

I've used the Turkcell modem in Kucuk Erenkoy without problem and with better connection speeds than the free wi-fi in the local bars/restaurants.



Also Wireless, the charge of 45TL/PM is similar to the Turkcell costs for 4GB: 15TL/PGB. Granted the modem is a couple of quid dearer.

thanks - really useful - you see without your actual experience it is impossible to buy the people in turkcell said it did not work past the golf club!

We have got Telsim in Tatlisu and it is excellent! Very fast and when we skype the UK, phone calls are very clear and do not break up. We tried Turkcell 3g out here, and it didnt work.
