| Just got Hubby to read this report what they are saying is that if the talks which were being held today do not solve the rpoblems then they could go on strike. It does not mean they are going to turn off the power it just means that if there are any problems they will not go out and do repairs. Just listening to the news if there is any updates i will post here. |

| Apparently those 55 temporary workers since 2008 should be made permanent by law but it was not done under pressure from the ranks of UBP, the ruling party. My comment: Employment is the main weapon of ruling parties. They employ people from their own ranks. Apparently these 55 workers were employed by CTP at the time, so since now UBP is in power they are trying to get them out rather than make them permanent. This is the state of politics in TRNC.
