Our (shared) pool is 10*5 meters. I'd like to know how much the monthly maintenance by a qualified company would be. Are prices the same in summer/winter? Thanks in advance for any answers.

How many of you share the pool, and do the company you are with at the moment charge you for replacement bits or new motors etc.. Our pool company replace and maintain our pool, its the best its ever been, but we have a contract for literally every thing that can go wrong with the pool....

Hans I pay £50 per month for a 10 x 5 pool. Payments are the same throughout the year although in the summer the pool is cleaned twice a week whereas in the winter it is only cleaned once. Service includes cleaning, chemicals and general maintenance ( cleaning check valve etc ). Paul

Very true zerochlor, no one can quote for a pool that is shared by pehaps 20 others, as this is taken into account re levels of contamination etc..... And what is the contract for now? just cleaning, or maintenance or full works.......

I do our 8x4m pool myself and am still using the 50k chlorine I bought 2 years ago. Have been doing this for 6 years and it is simple. This means the cost of running a pool including chemicals, tanker water, electricity and repairs (2 pumps) works out at £50pm over that period.

Hey Zerochlor (I think it's Dave?), I've just asked my pool maintenance man to change over from chlorine to zerochlor...I won't be there until August 18. Can you advise me what we will need from you, where to get it and how much it will cost? Thanks. Ian.

message 6 hi dizzy DC is such a stubborn man he is reading the questions being asked but he wont answer them. He feels he has asked the correct question to get the correct answer he wishes to hear. A communal pool will always cost more than a private pool. a chlorine pool in some cases costs more than a zerochlor pool, depends who is looking after that pool. in most cases a zerochlor pool costs are around £5 to £10 extra per month No 1 can give DC a honest quote if he does not wish to take the time to add a little more to his own post. DC. better you just keep paying what you are at the moment and not moan about it !!After all,its only money

Hi Zerochlor, well, the old saying is 'ya canna help them that danna want it'.. Pool maintenence can be different by any company. Cheaper if used by just the villa owners, but dearer if more people invade that pool!! If you say Hans what it is you want covered then some off us will tell you.
