Hi i went to see the Congo faith Healers last night at Vouge night club. I have to say they are the best band i have seen here for a long time.



Great original songs, lively performance by great musicians, well done guys.

They are at the TANGO TO BUDHA next Friday evening. It's very hard to describe their style of music. It's a mixture of Blues - Swing - Caribbean - Latin - R&B - Gypsy and Rock, all thrown into a pot and thrown at you. They are fantastic to say the least - the music is very infectious - especially that from the trumpet player who is as good as any player of that instrument I've seen in a long time. Practically all of their music is what the have written themselves.



Look them up on 'You Tube' or go on the 'GOOGLE' site and type in - AMERICAN BLUES NEWS CONGO FAITH HEALERS and check out the 'guest interview' of 30th June 2010. There is even a short video of them at the bottom of the interview.



They are a must see band - especially if you like something different.

I've got their album playing now - abso-bloody-lutely fantastic. These guys are going to be BIG. Paolo Nuttini proved there is a market for something a little different, and these guys provide it. Anyone who misses their gigs out here will regret it - and that's a promise!

I couldn't agree any more!! I also saw them at Vogue, although not a large turn out, it was an absolutely brilliant night...they totally rocked the place and not one person was sitting still....even me, and i have a dodgy leg!!



And the trumpeter from Barnsley...well....got to be seen to be believed....pure brilliance!! Can't wait to see them again that's for sure!!
