| Bradus, thankyou for posting that - it IS interesting reading. But as usual, (shame on the UK government, old and new) there is hardly any reference to TC land in the South being returned, or compensated for by the Greek Cypriots who have been using TC land without permission for many years. I don't seem to have heard about any GCs being forced to give back TC land..... And certainly no GC being made to knock down "illegal" property, or threatened with having other property of theirs, nothing at all to do with the Cyprus Question......... |

| Kimig Unfortunately a lot of CT land in the South has been illegally passed over to the Greek Cypriots. There are 27 families that I know of that were displaced from Pafos in 74 and have copies of their original title deeds but after doing research via the land registry in the ROC they find that their original title deeds have been falsified and effectively handed over to GC ownership. These families do not have the money to take out a class action against the ROC but they are resolute in getting the problem sorted. The ROC unfortunately are trying to sweep this particular problem under the carpet. I wish my Cypriot Turkish friends well in getting their problems sorted out. AJ |
