veranda or ambience in north cyprus

coming over for a holiday soon and thinking of trying one of these two places out.went to ambience last year and it was awesome but have heard good things about the veranda.as anyone been to both who could give me a fair comparison.quality and a fair price is my goal

Well at the Veranda you wont get the waitress trying to sell you jewelrey.However the food is good at both places.

I went to the Veranda the other day and it was nice, but theres just something a little more special about the Ambiance.

I went looking for Ambience the other night, and the 'trail' seemed to peter out at 'Quente' - so went to 'Address' instead!

I must have missed a sign somewhere...

Must say that Address was fine though

We tend to have early drinks at the Ambiance then go to the Veranda for a meal.

Best of both worlds- works for us

Hi Shayne Ward (are you the singer?)



My Wife and I have had several super evenings at both restaurants and I would suggest you raid the piggy bank and go to both.



In our view on a nice warm summer evening dinner at The Ambiance is the very best dining experience we have enjoyed in twenty years of dining in N.C.



If it is windy it can take the edge off the Ambiance as it can be too cool for the ladies and the food.



Have a great time (don't forget to book and ask for a table right by the water)

Would agree with dougskud. This also applies to the Verandah - lovely sitting 'seaside' if a warm, balmy night, but certainly can get a bit chilly and can get very windy sitting right at the front otherwise.

The Veranda all the way for me! No frills....just a wonderful setting, amazing food, and genial hosts that keep it real! You wont be disappointed!

Keith - at the gates to Quente - turn right towards the sea - Ambience is at the bottom there. It really is excellent, had a great meal there Sunday night
