Keith might be able to "throw some light" on this dancing puff.

I was talking to some friends on holiday here and last night they were watching this ball of light coming from Karsiyaka direction towards Lapta. They said there was no sound so not a helicopter and that it was travelling at a high speed. It changed colour and then just vanished. My friend was very reluctant to say anything really as he thought I would think he was insane. (:-0)

They were spotted drinking beer

But they thought the prices to dear

They went to Alsancak for a curry

And they weren't prepared to leave in a hurry

Now they have found a place to rest

In the corner bar with topless barmaids i do not jest

So if you want to come and see them and follow the link

What I thought I saw at 0130 hrs in Alsancak was exactly as Spider describes, a small puffy cloud which flitted up, down, left and right, at considerable speed and varying altitudes. I thought at first that the torch I was carrying was beaming onto small patches of cloud but realised it never occurred where I directed the beam. When I switched the torch off it continued it's haphazard antics. I have no believe in UFOs nor had I been drinking. With over 20 years Infantry experience and hopefully some skills in night vision, as the saying goes "I 'ave never known a night like it, and I aint looking forward to the journey home". Like me, very strange !

deputydawg you have described what i saw very well. Mr Spider thought it was a torch also...because he thinks thats the logic of things and so do I..But he also thinks something is out THERE watching us..He is sitting here insisting there was no beam..as you can see from my first post the time was 1am..seems from you saying you saw the same at 1.30am It was dancing about quite a while..We are always watching the sky at night and this is a very first, and very strange thing to have seen..Hmmm.
