Is the office still the one near the military fire station or has it, like the car tax office, moved to near the Girne hospital and if yes, where exactly is the entrance into it as not used it yet. Thanks.

all contracts need to be stamped and should be landlord who pays and does it however if they wont you should do it as if and hope you dont ever have to go to court then the contract has to have been stamped.

I think the office has moved to the one near the hospital and if you go towards the hospital turn left before the hospital carry on round the bend andthink its first left and the carpark is on the right . Just go in the main entrance and they will tell you there where you need to be. Hope thats of some help

Many thanks honestie for directions. But as regards the contract we have always done it on behalf of the landlord as he is in the UK.

sorry boerboel but as far as I know the landlord has to do it as they have all the documents for the property.Once that is stamped the you can go and pay the tax each month on behalf of the landlord..Unless you know otherwise please let me know as our new agreement will be due next here and our landlord dose not live here either...We had a two year contract and this may save him the bother of a visit to sort it out..Thanks.

As far as I am aware as I have rented but mine has been on commercial property but a contract is still a contract for rental. I took the original on behalf of the landlord ( who was TC and lived here) and got it stamped and tax paid .

How much should it cost to have the rental agreement made official?
