Most of the regular users of this forum will have read about this already and for repeating myself I apologise. However, we have made huge leaps and bounds with the Facebook Group - Protest - against the isolation of North Cyprus because we exist! A rally in London has been organised and there is also going to be a simultaneous one organised in Lefkosa on the same day, Sunday 3rd October. So please please join the FB Group & sign the petition - both can be accessed via this link http://www.trncfreedom.com/.



We are concerned that there appears to be a lack of support coming from TRNC and TCs, so please spread the word to everyone you know and maybe, just maybe TRNC might be successful in getting the recognition it deserves!! Also as talks between the two sides develop it is important that the residents of TRNC are heard.

Unfortunatley apathy rules here. There is always plenty on forums and in bars but come the day - I am having my hair done, the dog is going to vets, it is darts day etc.



Been there, got many t-shirts from attending events when the same 12 turn out every time, on one occasion it was down to FOUR.



Oh forgot -it is illegal, the police will take our photos, our residency will not be renewed etc, etc.



Cynic, moi!!!!!!!!!!!!



Are you liaising with Embargoed in London?



Have you contacted BRS and Home Buyers Pressure Group here in TRNC to try and get some response. There are TC groups here as well that HBPG may be able to advise you of. Certainly members of TCgroups use this and other forums.

This is a rally to protest against the embargoes imposed against North Cyprus. There are to be simultaneous rallies in London and TRNC. Please see http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=135699499784345 as well for more info. The organizers are doing a fantastic job. Embargoed! and ATCA are supporting the protest.



I attended a previous rally in Nicosia to protest the embargoes. Cyprusishomes, you were also there. No ex-pats were arrested, nor was there any threat of that. I am confident no ex-pats would be arrested for attending a future rally here for this. Why would they when it's for the good of the country?



It's time to stop whingeing and stick up for ourselves!
