| The annual Mehmetcık Grape festıval is under way until August 15. There are many things happening from cultural events to wine tasting. For info call Tugce 0533 834 4868.
Tonight there is a theatre production at 9pm.
Happening at the same time from 7pm there is a fair, food stalls, traditional handicrafts.
Tomorrow at 9.15pm there is traditional dancing and an open buffet. |

| Tonight - Wednesday at 9.15pm traditional dancing featuring groups from Mehmetcik and Kumyali. At 10.30pm Nicosia Salsa group.
Thursday - 9.15pm concert by the Galatya group and more Salsa later!
Next week the serious stuff happens - wine tasting etc. Will update this page each day with events. |

| Ok Gavin, but make sure this comes up each day so that folk know what's going on!
Friday 6th - 8.30pm President Eroglu officially opens the event.
9.15pm various awards followed by fireworks and a concert with SOS band
Saturday 7th from 10am sand sculpture competition at Bafra beach, prize giving at 4pm
Sunday 8th 10am soccer tournament, 9pm best garden and street awards
Monday 9th 3pm-6pm food and wine making demo. 9pm - longest sujuk comp.
Tuesday 10th 3pm-6pm food and wine making demo
Wednesday 11th 3pm-6pm food and wine demo. 9pm 5-10 year olds comp for best bunch of grapes.
Thursday 12th 3-6pm wine making. 9pm music concert
Friday 13th 3-6pm food and wine panel
Sat 14th 10am visit to Ergenekon and St Hilarion wineries. 9pm music concert
Sunday 15th 10am volleyball comp. 9pm official closing
Don't forget that there are food stalls, fairground etc eey night from about 8pm in the centre of the town. |
