Anyone want four perfectly good Scorpions?



Oh yes, apparently your current emission test may have six months to run but you have to have a new one and any white number plates need changing to yellow.

I just had my mot on friday. I changed 2 tyres as I thought they were a little thin. I went to a tyre place next to Ibos bar in Alsancak opposite the Ravina fish and chip shop. I had a pair of 2nd hand ones at 50 tl each and look almost new. If you tyres are not too bad then dont bother as I drove in the mot station at 9.50 and drove out at 10.00 all they checked was the engine number, I was a little pd off after buying the tyres and paying the 100tl for the test a right rip off. Yes you need an emissions test but again didnt look. I think you mean the back number plate has to be yellow, but have they not always been. Anyway 3 years before I need another test or emissions if the car lasts that long.

I got two new tyres for mot a few weeks ago in alsancak just past green garage

on the opposite side of the road . comming from lapta.

large tractor tyre out side of entrance.

cost was 64£

Mertkol lastik - in Alsancak just passed 'ya beleş' vegetable shop on the left if heading towards Lapta from Kyrenia - excellent always!!!

we went to Pitstop a couple of weeks ago for a price and in all honesty found them a tad more expensive than our regular place which is Ali's, we thought we would try Pitstop out as we have friends who kept staying how good they were.



Ali's is just near the Fire Station in Girne. If you turn off the main road between the telephone exchange and the fire station then turn first right it is on the left hand side, can't miss it.



They have also come out to us when we have had a flat, they are excellent.

Today he replaced 3 tyres for me free of charge on manufacturers defect basis, I was extremly suprised and at the same time pleased..... Well done Ali !!
