My wife has been suffering from what seems like extreme heartburn, burning sensation in chest and stomach,which started suddenly yesterday

Can someone please advise on a good doctor to go and see in Girne.

Get in touch with Nurseawful and the TRNC Medicare, I have seen on this forum that they appear to have a list of doctors etc

This is a number I found on one of her other threads 0533 884 5621 but also there is an advert in the back of the Cyprus Today with this number: 0533 841 6505.

Just to clarify we at TRNC Healthcare have nothing at all to do with Medicare which is the number in Cyprus Today.



Our number is 0533 884 5621.

To be on the safe side take your wife to Girne Hospital as I would feel better if she had an ECG and chest x-ray.



It won't cost much and if she needs further treatment Dr Salem at the clinic behind Pia Bella Hotel in Girne is excellent.

Yes she is a GP and when not at Green clinic she is at MediKent.

Dr Silem is excellent, Green Clinic is down the road opposite Molly's cafe its the first door on the right when you go in the front door of the clinic. Yes she is a London Cyp she trained and worked in London hospitals. I cannot recommend her enough. Nothing is too much trouble and she has time for everyone you are not rushed when you see her

Totally agree with lapta6. No hesitation in recomending Dr Silem. Trained to consultancy level in the UK
