Hi folks I put on a topic a few days ago[considering moving to northern cyprus advice needed] and the replies were very helpful but conflicting opinions.I am worried by the problems people have had when purchasing so have thought about longterm renting and I was wondering roughly what it would cost to rent a 3 or 4 bed villa pref with a pool and not on a complex.Bob.

HI bigbadbob,,myself and husband have just rented a 3 double bedroom 3 bath villa with pool £400 per month includes maintance of pool,,we paid a holding deposit of £400 GPB and will be moving out 1st Sept and really looking forward to it,,the villa is unfirnished and we have 12 month agreement..Northcove are very helpful there villa,s are around west Kyrenia..Hope this helps...

Hi we pay £300 a month huge pool, Huge Villa wonderful landlord...Loads of empty places about for rent but the landlords if want to make the investment work for them they need to be realistic or it stays empty..

You got yours for a song spider !! i got 65m2 apartments rented at 300 quid a month and they are never empty and rent to locals !! No Pool !!

Rental pices do differ, best to look at what is on offer and view, take into account if you have any up keep such as gardening, villa maintenance etc . Take a good look at the rental contract to see what your obligations are. Def rent though, if you decide you do not like the area, neighbours or the villa itself just move on . Plenty of fab places in TRNC good luck.
