Nicosia: In the black list to leave Cyprus was assigned the name of Kyprianou of Cyprus, owner of Famagusta Developers against which complaints have been cases of fraudulent applicants property buyers. This confirmed the radio RIK from the Press Office of the Police. Against the company examined eight cases of forgery, fraudulent appropriation of property, extortion and property by false representations and theft secondary dealers.



Primarily related offenses extortion by false representations, forgery of title deeds, registration of forged documents, fraudulent property transaction documents and other related offenses.



In many cases appear to double sells property and displayed fake title deeds.

Tracer....highlighting similar examples of corruption in the South does nothing to help or reassure the victims in the North.



However,it does reaffirm that the FCO advice to avoid buying property in Cyprus full stop ( I'm obviously paraphrasing here ;-) ) should be followed rigidly.



Don't buy...RENT.
