Hi everyone, My daughter, Lucy has recently had a baby and as you mum's will know, it can affect your confidence. To give her a boost we've persuaded her to enter a competition on Facebook.

Thank you Lilli. We think so too, but after having a baby Lucy needs a little boost. Whether she wins or not is immaterial, the love and support she receives is what this is all about - and of course the lovely comments you have made help enormously.

Don't forget you can vote every day - since yesterday Lucy has jumped up a page. Now on page 5.

well i will vote for her every day, every new mum needs to find her own worth also, but to do it it the first place and to come this far i hope will encourage her. I once entered my daughter in a beauty show, she was as mad as hell at me. She won and went onto miss GB, Miss Wales etc collected good money , became a model , not so mad any more.

Hi numpty. As a result of the lovely messages and support Lucy has received I can tell you that today Lucy felt confident enough to go along to a nice waterfont bar and ask if they had any vacancies for evening work. She starts tomorrow. I would say that was a successful outcome, and once again you lovely people - THANK YOU.

Hi that is really good news, i hope she does well, if voting can help her all good and well....... one of my lovely daughters died aged 36, with breast cancer, last march, i would do or give anything to have her back, so voting for Lucy is the least i could do, i wish her all the luck in the world xx
