Hi Folks we are looking to come out there on a scouting mission later this month and we have been offered a good deal on the pia Bella. The hotel seems to be quite central so it would be quite handy for getting around, which would be usefull.I have searched a few sites for reviews but there are no recent ones so I was hoping someone on here would be able to give me some info.Bob.

Pia Bella has always had a good name & hopefully, you will like it there. It is now much bigger than it was in the past, having had new extensions. It always used to be full for most of the high season in the past. One final point. It is one of the cheapest hotels for inhouse drinks prices.

Bob....we stayed there a couple of times whilst our place was being built. It's a good hotel with great facilities, friendly staff, and the central location to Kyrenia is a definite plus.

Going back at Christmas for the 7th time, good atmosphere, good staff who have been there years tells you something, comfortable clean rooms, food very good, plenty of choice breakfast end evening, nice snacks too, we book half board but don't always stay in because we don't lose much. Lovely gardens and two pools although we can't use them in Winter but hoping the indoor pool ready this time. Large outside bar in Summer and eating out with very reasonable prices for drinks. Usually get a good price for hire car. Dolmus stops outside to town or up the the East, at the back you can get dolmus to Nicosia. Anything else you need to know?

A very good Hotel with good service and accommodation. We used the Pia Bella when we first came "scouting" 6 years ago. The only critism at that time was that the aircon in the room wasn't up to it, but a friend who came recently found the same problem and was moved to a room with good aircon without any questions ask. Great service, and very helpful staff.

And excellent entertianment. Tonight and every Saturday throughout August, Jonnie Hawkins is performing in aid of the Cheshire Home. Free entry and very reasonably priced drinks: What more could you want?

Brilliant hotel, brilliant prices, brilliant staff who remember you time after time, even if its been a couple of years since you went in. Only thing though, there are no lifts in the new building where the deluxe rooms are so if you stuggle with stairs you would have to ask for a ground floor room if possible. Only mentioned because last year when I stayed they put us in rooms on the next to top floor. Tad annoying walking down all the stairs to realise you've left something in the room ;-)

We have stayed at the Pia Bella 6 times and the staff are so friendly and happy. Only ongoing problem we had was with the room entry cards. You can't get two to work at the same time one cancels the other one out. The staff will oblige with giving you another replacement card but this leaves the previous card un useable. We prefered our original stay were we had a key. A minor blip. Our love to the Pia Bella Staff from John & Julie

Hi Bob We too got a good deal at the Pia Bella & like you are going on a scouting trip (going out on 18th). Unlike you though i found reviews from July on Tripadvisor.com (I think its .com ) for July of this year. Of the several I read only one negative (primarily referring the staff in reception - reviewier said they were rude & unhelpful - but didn't say how they had approached the staff themselves - so maybe it was 6 of 1 & 1/2 doz of the other) Yours Anne (Aeyeofspirit)
