broken light shade in ceiling fan

I have a ceiling fan with 1 glass shade enclosing the bulb. The shade has broken and it seems it cannot be replaced, does it mean I have to replace the whole ceiling fan. I asked in the electrical shop on the Nicosia roundabout and they just said replacement glass shade not available. Does anyone know any different

If you know the maker of your fan, look for a website, you may get one that way. Over here forget it, once you have bought the fan they cannot care at all. Been waiting nearly 2 years for replacement sensor for remote fan, it broke after only 2 months I bought 5!

No they dont have my size shade cos the ceiling fans are 6 years old.
