I am treating my pool with zerochlor and very pleased with it.My problem is I have a colony of backswimmers that appear every morning. Not an infestation just like 20 of them every day.At present it amuses me to fish them out and dump them but I can see myself tiring of that.I have 2 questions.

1.Should I be squishing them when I dump them.

2.Is there a more permanent solution.

Many thanks.

If you don't squish them they find their way back...

The chadders

im sure they enjoy the lazy morning sun and swim in your zerochlor pool water, better to kill them once you fished them out i think.

If you put in enough chlorine to kill them it's also not suitable for humans to swim in... it wil make your eyes sting and your skin itch....

fish them out, squish them and be happy that your water is attractive to wildlife, so it's safe for you too.
