Villa near Kyrenia – Northern Cyprus

I am looking at going away on a week’s holiday in August to northern Cyprus. I am going to be 10 minutes away from Kyrenia. Can anyone recommend any good restaurants or bars in the area?



I found the villa I am staying at on the Internet at http://www.cyprusvillasuk.com. Great booking service via the website and email. + the villas look brilliant, cant wait for the second week in august now.

On the main Lapta Girne road, opposite the Ship Inn Hotel, we like the Bizim Han. (next to the Chinese restaurant). Unfortunately the road has got so busy it can be noisy. The menu isn't extensive, but the Bizim Han special is great and very filling!



In Kyrenia itself, Niazi's (opposite the Dome) is very popular - book a table.

hi there,

i can recommend Ambiance it is on the road to kyrenia just before Tempo supermarket, it is right by the sea really lovely, get there to catch the sunset. Also Niazis in kyrenia is lovely but bellapais abbey was my favourite excellent meal, surrondings,sunset was amazing and a view to die for!! I would recommended booking at all these places as they were all quite busy.Hope this helps

Try the Bell Tower at Bellapais - great place, great food and lovely people. The view across Bellapais abbey and down to the coast will blow you away. They will come and pick you up as well - so you dont even have to drive !!
