JUST BEEN TO BAR 8.8 FOR BRUNCH, WHAT CAN I SAY, EXCELENT FOOD, FRESHLY PREPAIRED, WELL PRESENTED, NICE SITTING AREA, GOOD MENU INCLUDING SALMON, REASONABLE PRICE, HIGHLY RECOMENDED AND WELL WORTH A VISIT

We've also been to Bar 8.8 - 3 times over the last 4 days! Breakfasts are, as 'numpty' says, excellent. For example - smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on brown toast, or full English with tasty bacon and sausages, all beautifully cooked. Price includes toast/jam/orange juice.



Good range of freshly-made sandwiches, inc smoked salmon, delicious baked potatoes, salads etc. Great value for money and impeccable service! Give it a try. We went for lunch and made an afternoon of it!

Bar 8.8 also have really good and varied live entertainment in the evenings and oh boy if you are into cocktails it's 'THE' place to be. Coupled with a relaxing Nargili in a very sociable enviironment- what more could you want?! Has anyone had the pleasure of seeing and hearing FIRAT live at 8.8 yet? I hear he was excellent and would so love to be there instead of enduring this constant rain here!

May i just add that all the sandwiches, toasties and toast are infact english bread bought from bells, to me this makes all the difference. BLT's you can't beat them. I can not fault anything on the menu, god i'm getting hungry just thinking about it!!!!

I have to say you can't beat Bells for quality products and this is where Bar 8.8 scores.



The number of times I have had English Breakfasts in various establishments where the sausages are tasteless, but not at Bar 8.8.



Why............ because they go for quality products (from Bells to a large extent).

RE message 14, Bells is a supermarket that tends to cater for the ex-pats.



It is located about 400 yards futher west from Tempo on the mountainside of the road in Karalangalu, close to the border with Alsancak.



Good quality food and SWAS. service with a smile, just like Bar 8.8

8.8 Breakfast Feast @ 15 TL - 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 rashers bacon, fresh mushrooms (when available), tomato, beans, fried bread, toast with butter and jam, tea or Nescafe, Glass of Bloom Orange Juice

8.8 Breakfast @ 10 TL - 1 egg, 1 sausage, 1 rasher bacon, tomato, beans, toast with butter and jam, tea or Nescafe

8.8 Delux Breakfast @ 16 TL - Smoke salmon and scrambled eggs served with Brown toast

Fillings for Jacket Potatoe or Sandwich on ENGLISH sliced bread - Egg Mayonnaise, Tuna and Mayonnaise, Cheese and tomato, Cheese and onion, Cheese and pickle, Chicken, mayonnaise and salad, Prawn & Marie Rose sauce, B.L.T great British sandwich Bacon, Lettuce and tomato, Smoked salmon with Dill mayonnaise and cucumber
