Hi AlfAlf, I asked this question several weeks ago when my disabled daughter in law came to stay. The answer was no but there are disabled parking bays in the large car park nr the law courts in Girne. My son brought the disabled badge with them and we did use it in the car a couple of times when we went out and nobody said anything. The butlers wife

After nearly 5 years of driving and parking here I can assure you it makes no differnce what colour badge you have, a parking bay is for parking in!!!! If you park on double yellows etc you will be given a ticket same as the rest of us.

I have my blue badge on back window, and the old card one on my dash - I iont know if it helps or not, Never got free parking though! Am I meant to show it to them?? I have been told that you can go into the offices at the top of the main street with an old UK one and they will give you one - I tried- but theres never anyone there who can understand enough or the person is unavailable etc etc. Sat and waited ages one day and the man I was to see just sat in his office on the phone, or chatting to people who barged in, so I gave up.
