We have NILESAT the only channel we can get is Movies the other channels say no signal any ideas would be welcome.

OK - have you tried to



1/ turn off the receiver at the mains for 10 mins, turn it on then try again..? -if THAT fails



2/ is the sat cable firmly attached to the f-connector - the bit that screws into the receiver ? .. sometimes works loose ? -if that isn't it ..



2/ do you have a friend who also has nilesat - if so they might lend you their receiver and you connect theirs to your dish and see if it works.. it will NOT bugger up their settings.. if it does the same - then you know it is the 'dish' / cable / lnb issue - time for a 'pro'.. if it DOES work ok - it is your receiver that's the problem
