Can anyone tell me where a relative can buy an Internet phone in UK before coming here on Thursday ? They have tried Maplin/Argos/Currys/Tesco and no Internet phones - Argos had headsets only ! Also any recommendations for a good reasonable price make/model of cordless one would help.

if they cannot get one to bring over by Thurs is there anywhere here that sell good ones ?

Are you sure that they are asking for the correct item

internet phones that work independantly of a computer i phone etc

or a skype style phone that work with your computer are readily available from the previously mentioned suppliers

I had two in the past and they both broke down very quickly so i have reverted to the headset and its much better.

Thanks everyone so far - the relative is asking for the coprrect type phone but it appears noone has any. I have checked websites and cannot see them either. Argos is just a blank page or refers you to headsets.

catalkoykid - that one is saying not available at the moment !!!

Maybe they are all moving over to the IP or it is something to do with Skype 4 - who knows. Anyway if anyone can recommend anywhere here or South side then that would be a help as i cannot see them getting one before they come over tomorrow.
