Ultimately it was not just Andrew Charalambous for the last 36 years wondering and was worried about the fate of small Ismet that at the age of nine years, the first day of the invasion, was struggling for her life having received three bullets in a small body of .

The publication yesterday by our newspaper's history Ismet Kontzou, just as narrated by Andreas Charalambous - the man who selflessly moved amid the fighting in Nicosia hospital and stayed by her side for five days worrying about whether they will survive - touched many, awakened memories and prompted some of the protagonists of the story to contact us.

With words of gratitude also spoke (in the newspaper Chavantis) and Ismet itself to the man, the protector, the man who was like her father took so much risk to keep it alive. "I am happy that after so many years I was able to meet the second my father," said the visibly moved Ismet.

Some men who were with us thought they reached the Turkish army and then started to cry in relief because they had come to save us. But soon we realized that it is G / C troops. cont.and the third leg. Hewas beaten however and a C / C soldier in hand. We put them both into a truck and we were taken to hospital Evrykhou. He came with me and my older brother came to me. From what I learned later, Andreas took me in Nicosia and then held me in his arms. I was half dead when I arrived in Nicosia. I lost a lot of blood but after hours of surgery, my condition gradually stabilized. Apart from that carried a risk of his life in the capital, Andrew stayed on my side for five days and be careful "she says piously Ismet way, unable even now to realize, he says, what did this man for her.

"Now I know that he was looking for too long. He had heard that I was married to a Turkish officer and lived in Turkey. Frankly I can not describe my feelings, he did so much to me, so many sacrifices to save me. I can not believe it. He did what we did and a father for his child. Who is trying to conquer who?????

How did you manage to get yourself in to EU illegaly?

Next time you drive away from Larnaca airport, read the first sign you see!"we demand Turkish troops out,we demand settlers out for settlement"

.......Welcome to Turkish Repuplic of Northenc Cyprus!Thats what you'll get to read on the first sign driving away from Ercan.

Dont forget to read the signs before you cross over the border to paradise.
