The peek times for viewing the Perseid Meteor Shower are between midnight and dawn both tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday. They normally appear from the North East. But there are generally more meteors about than normal at this time of year so it can be rewarding to watch at any time over the next couple of nights.

I was asking friends the other day if this was due again. We seem to have seen less activity in the skies (and I don't mean aircraft!) than last year but there has been more cloud cover. That'll be me wandering around with neck ache over the weekend again then
