Hello, All. Does anyone know where I could find the residential construction regulations in the TRNC, e.g. how high the roof can be, the minimum distance of the house from the neighbours' property, etc? I am looking for the info that architects/builders use to ensure that their buildings are approved. I would be happy to obtain the regulations in Turkish. I would have them translated and share them with anyone who is interested. Any ideas as to where I might find this? Many thanks Dana

Building Regs, your builder will have a copy which I'm sure he'd let you photocopy. Only joking, this is a joke isn't it?

No joke. I haven't yet chosen a builder. I'd like to see the regulations for myself.

What to expect for your 'concrete tent' - 'Dump it and run' builders using unwashed sea sand and an 8:1 concrete mix - 6 if you're lucky!

Blueparrot - I fear you'll spend a long time looking for the regulations in order to be able to see them for yourself. Sorry.
