We have just spent a glorious holiday on the Island and before we go back we would like to have a wonderful dining experience in Bellapais. We have been up there during the day but want a great night time meal with great service and exceptional food. We would be greatful for constructive feedback from any forum members who could recommend a fabulous restaurant with WOW views in Bellapais that serves wonderful a'la carte food to match. Thanking you in anticipation.

Kybele setting fabulous, food good, service good its the one next to the Abbey, you can either sit with amazing views over the coast/Girne or looking at the lit Abbey listening to background music .

just returned from Bellapaise, excellent location and you will not beat the ABBEY BELL TOWER, to dine in.. the location is second to none with a view of the abbey in all its glory, in the evening it is superb, the lighting on the monastry in unique.....food is wonderful, and service is exemplary......I dont think we have ever eaten in such a romantic setting. We also ate at the Tree of Idleness which again was superb, but the bell tower takes the prize as far as we are concerned.....

Unfortunately we didnt have a good meal at the Bell Tower, but the Tree of Idleness always serves lovely food and they usually have bellydancers on a Saturday evening, which makes for a nice night out.

We would always recommend Tree of Idleness for great food, good service and a lovely view of the abbey. The meze is brilliant, but beware of eating too much and then not having enough room for your main course. They also do a free pick up service which is great when you don't drive. We have just spent a month on holiday and eaten at the Tree 4 times, each time excellent meal.

We went to the Bellapais Gardens when we were there in June, having heard many good things about it. Whilst I agree that the hotel and setting is beautiful, we were very disappointed with the food. There was nothing actually 'wrong' with it but we were expecting something special. It was quite expensive, but we anticipated that, given the setting, etc. The service was excellent, too, just very disappointed with the meal itself. Oh, and I had the one and only upset stomach I have ever had in NC the following morning

Belapias Gardens for the views. Bella Moon for the setting, food and very reasonably priced. I enjoy both but I will never eat at the Kybele again despite the views reason being they tend to focus on coach party bookings from the South and for me have lost that personal touch. Keep posting Keep smiling Kennyb
