Can anyone help......If I disturb someone burgling my villa.... for example caught inside. If that person was injured would I be arrested? Is it like the UK - use as much force as is necessary and only in self defence. Or will the authorities have a different view?

You can only "restrain" them to the same degree that the TRNC police will ! That should give you plenty of options ! ;)

With a magazine of 30 rounds load ....... make ready .......... at your target in front, in your own time, carry on ! If gun fires one or two rounds and stops, remove the magazine,.... if there are no rounds in the chamber, replace the magazine, cock the weapon, and carry on firing ! Do not use a Bazooka as it is American crap and a 25 metre backblast within your villa is not good news ! In all seriousness anyone who breaks in whilst my Wildebeest (bless her) is present, has an immediate defence of insanity !
