I would like to paint a picture on the bottom of my pool & would have though that I need to use an enamel based paint unless you know better! But not sure how this will react on grout etc. Also if anyone knows if chemicals for cleaning pool will damage the paint. I normally paint walls etc. & use acrylic but this would be no good for under water. I would be grateful for any technical advice please from those who KNOW.

many thanks

Mary x

The paint you would have to use or better off useing would be a epoxy resin based paint.

not sure of the colour range that is available in epoxy paints.

How is the regular brushing and scraping employed for pool cleaning going to affect the artwork?

from posts above I now know I need an epoxy resin paint but very limited on range so as I want to do Winnie the pooh & tigger scene it is quite a task to get the colours so may have to rethink, but if no pooh bear then NO picture. very sad....
