The penultimate paragraph states there would be a meeting on the 15th July. Did this happen, as the website appears not to have been updated since July 17th?

Marian and the HBPG do a fantastic job in supporting victims of the TRNC property scandals ,but I firmly believe that the powers that be in the TRNC are just cynically playing along with them , paying lip service by "listening" to their demands ,but have absolutely no real intention of changing anything.



If they genuinely wanted change ,the rules and laws regarding PTP and title deeds could be sorted very quickly....but there is no political will to do so because the TRNC is all about self interest for those in charge.

Well stated. Marian does an excellent job. I also agree with your comments about those in power.



Self interest is prevalent amongst the ministers and their hanger-ons ... you see it also in the number of MPs they have, when only 5 would suffice!



They could change things overnight if they wanted to.
