I have a fine jet spray of water leaking from a reducing bend on the Inlet pipe at the pool side before the valve. Is there a sealant that can be applied to a wet surface or am i faced with draining the pool to dry off and seal or to replace reducing bend. Any advise welcome. Regards, Dumyat.

You could try 2-part epoxy putty, bt it might not hold under pressure. Worth a try, but be prepared to drain your pool.

you could try blocking all the inlet jets (plastic bags perhaps) & closing all the valves. If you can get the joint dry, try putting on loads of pipe bonding glue.

Not sure it will work but it is possible to buy here from plumbers an expanding plug which fits inside pipes and by turning a central screw it inflates the rubber perimeter of the plug so tightly to the inside of the pipe that it stops flow so that dry conditions work can be undertaken.
