businesses in NC that use 44 a Mod question

Please could the mods ask Izzet if it would be possible to make a list of all the businesses that use 44 and have a special place on the first page and to be kept on the front page, so as any new poster can just scroll down to their chosen restaurant, pool cleaners etc, with out having to have their posts deleted. As do feel that it only makes for annimosity if someone posts for the first time, to get it deleted.

Plus any offers from these premises have can be updated without causing ill feeling towards each other... over to you mods...

All posts relating to a specific business can be found by entering its name in the search box and clicking SEARCH - under the banner at the top where it says 'Forums' Events' News...and so on

Similarly, if one is looking for a business, but doesn't know the name, entering the type of business in the box - e.g.restaurant, builder, etc will bring up all threads relating to that type of business

Then there are the 'POPULAR NORTH CYPRUS FORUM TAGS' at the bottom of the Forum page, or TOP, if not logged in - Restaurants, Builders, Taxi, Guido's, Hotels - and many others, all have their own click-able link

I'm sorry, but if people can't take a few minutes to learn how to use a new Forum, and just launch in on their first post, with questions that have been asked a hundred times before, then they are going to get some flack - on most Forums, not just this one

A short note explaining how to use the excellent search facilities MIGHT help, but they probably wouldn't read it

Hi Keithcaley, if you honestly think this is an easy forum for newbies you are living in the past too!

This front page could be made really 'friendly' by updating the front format, I too notice that the Mods havent bothered to answer as they too must think its not worth updating...



Keith, when some one new wants to ask a question quickly, they just look at the first page and post, if it were to be made a list at the side, I think you would not get this double posting or the same question that does make others 'yawn'. ....Sorry, but nobody does as yourself does, always read the rules before they do something,

I agree just put what you are looking for in the SEARCH box at the top, if nothing comes up under that word think of another key word related, and try that. If nothing then post new topic. Hardly rocket science.

Hi Dizzycows , sorry you had to wait for a response , mods not always available , but not just because they can't be bothered to answer your question . Now to your question , all new members should be reading the rules before joining ,and it clearly states in rule 2 " Do your little research before asking " If people do not for what ever reason then we cannot help that , changing the format everytime someone comes up with an idea to improve things are not always feasable . And as it is only Izzet alone that can change things , it would be up to him and to be fair , he does have a full time job .

It must be great to have so much free time to be able to worry about something like this. This is a serious matter, not only that, the price of bread has gone up but still worth every Kuros, i get it everyday.

Hi again Keith, I think you are wrong, but hey thats what makes us all interesting. But then again, I dont necessarily think you are wrong, thats to much of a black/white statement isnt it, think you could be just a little bit behind with wanting to make changes for easy access.

Hi Simbas, it is just an idea for making an easy update for the users, I know it is Izzet that makes the changes, thats why I put it to you the Mods to take forward to Izzet, thanks for reply..

No problem cyprusquest, I think we all know Izzet is a busy person as a lot of us are, another reason why I like to make things fairly simple, be it a web page or my own life..
