| I am looking to buy a Pajero or similar, no older than 10 years, within the next few months. My preference is for a manual gear change and prefer a petrol engine. |

| hi why do you want petrol cost you a fortune the 2800 diesil is a fantastic engine take you any were and could get 35to gal also they have a timing chain not belt so does not need replacing til starts clanging unlike there other engines new belt when buy pahaps £300 the every 60000mls or 3 yrs my manual desil is trific and would not swop it for petrol any day |

| ok - not specifically petrol - I have never had a diesel engine but if they are recommended then i will be open minded but definately want a manual gear change. |
